Tens of thousands of us have a giant hole in our hearts the size of Pryor, Oklahoma. That’s because our favorite Oklahoma music festival, unfortunately, was forced to be postponed due to mandated social distancing guidelines that are in effect due to the Coronavirus.
Enter the Outlaw Devils, who invited Surviving Rocklahoma to be a part of an effort to help fill the void of live music by bringing you their entire setlist that was going to be played Memorial day weekend at Rocklahoma!
The Outlaw Devils have been featured twice on Surviving Rocklahoma including an interview I did with them early in 2020. The band is led by Scott Baughn, formerly of Ruff Justice and Deathgrip has played an official rock stage between the two bands and was set to play a seventh time, this time with the Outlaw Devils. They recorded their new album, “The Bastard Sons of Rock n Roll”, in Tulsa with the great Sid Falck producing. Here is one of their latest videos from that album:
The Texas rockers, have announced the release of their upcoming single “SKIN ON SKIN” set for Tuesday May 19th via DSN Music. Produced by former OVERKILL drummer SID FALCK, and will be available via digital music stores & streaming services such as Apple Music, Google Play, Amazon.com, Spotify, and hundreds more.
Not one to concede to a virus that shares a name with a cheap beer. The Outlaw Devils are determined to play for the masses Memorial Day weekend. And they’ll do so by recording the set they were prepared to play at Rocklahoma and they are going to premiere that performance in it’s entirety right here on SurvivingRocklahoma.com, Sunday, May 24th at 9 pm CST! This is Surviving Rocklahoma’s first exclusive performance and it will be streamed on Facebook Live and on SurvivingRocklahoma.com completely free. I’m both extremely proud and humbled to be a part of this upcoming presentation and can’t wait to see what the guys have in store for us.
